hey guys i made a new blog spot called "new light".

i am going to be doing little essays on jw's and the bible.

nothing new of course and on many other websites, but i kind of want to try my hand at writing.

The first post is my thoughts on Apostasy.

Witnesses have no right to criticize

it seems to me that the borg has no right to criticize apparent wrongs in the world because their members are not allowed to take part in politics.for instance how can they call something in the worldly system wrong if they do not vote against it or do something constructive to change the status quo.. it's no use them complaining about something they disagree with and at the same time opt out of the system .in other words, it's nothing to with them so tell them to clear off and mind their own business and leave the worlds wrongs to people who are trying to do something constructive about it.. words in the waktower will not cure anything, positive action gets things done .. for heavens sake how much more ink are they going to waste and how many more trees are they going to destroy before they realise actions speak louder than words?.

My Mom has always used the logic, "what do I care about it?" when I try to discuss politics. She rarely criticizes aside from the usual, "you can tell this old system of things is about to crumble".

I don't know, I can separate my love for what someone stands for and there artistic ability. I am more then willing to criticize him on his musical talents. I like many types of music also, but I have always disliked his music.

No offense Leolaia...and well I am a music snob, but I just never could figure out what his appeal was. His rap styling sucks and his pop sensibilities are sub par at best. I always felt he would have been relegated to Tiger Beat magazine had he been a white guy. He was like the DMX pretender who played that sissy rap card until it played out then tried to be hard, then got out rhymed by 50 cent and now is trying to do as much as he can to back in to good graces.
